Advanced Tunnel Waterproofing Solutions
The state-of-the-art waterproofing system consists of, exposed waterproofing sheet for all
types of tunnels and underground works, whether new or to be refurbished, without the
need for any subsequent covering. The exposed sheet is composed of
several layers. The exposed outer layerprovides mechanical strength; the middle layer
consists of closed-cell foam that provides the desired level of thermal insulation; and the
inner layer provides mechanical strength, drainage, a weldable surface and a vapor
barrier.The exposed sheet provides waterproofing, drainage capacity, water channelling
and anti-freeze thermal insulation. With more than 20 years and 2 million sqm installed in
countries such as Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Italy, France, Colombia, Chile and Ethiopia,
among others.
